The wait is finally over as Worship leader/ Author and Showgear Records Recording Artiste; Folabi Nuel releases his much anticipated 15-track sophomore project Hunger: From Our Hearts to Yours in Lagos, Nigeria on 06 November 2020.
The project, which comes on the heels of Folabi’s widely acclaimed lockdown EP titled Songs from my Bedroom, was recorded live in two locations, Lifepointe Church (Lekki, Lagos) and David’s Christian Centre in (Festac, Lagos), capturing a genuine atmosphere of community worship.
Fans of Folabi Nuel are already raving about this landmark project having tasted a few singles (Omemma, How to Love & Yeshua) off the album over the last couple of months.
According to Folabi, “this project is anchored on the scripture “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6). Every song creates room for you to pursue God and makes you hungry for more of Him.”
From Yeshua which speaks about the power in the name of Jesus and is currently a favourite with close to half a million views on Youtube and has been translated to Spanish, to Satisfied which is a simple prayer for more of God, to Water Ft. PITA which is simply a request to be full of God to a point of overflow, to Everyday Ft. Freke Umoh which is a song of gratitude and thanksgiving.
Without doubt each and every song from this project leaves you refreshed. No wonder they have received great praise and admiration from notable personalities such as Pastor Feb Idahosa, Pastor Godman Akinlabi, Victoria Orenze, Tim Godfrey, Wilson Joel etc.
